Hi, I'm Tabs. I primarily work with pens, pencils, paint pens, and acrylic paints. I also draw in Procreate on my iPad.
My artwork can be found at The Spirit Burrow in Nimbin, NSW, and Jeanlane Tattoo Studios in Brisbane, QLD. I'm a member with the RQAS Art Gallery in Broadbeach, so you may occasionally catch my work there too.

What's currently living rent free in your head? The M.C. Escher scene in Labyrinth.
Favourite way to find inspo? Throwing on an album and flipping through my favourite illustrated books.
Biggest pop culture influences growing up? The animated Disney Alice in Wonderland movie and The Twilight Zone show, the original version in black and white.
Controversial art opinion? The 2020's take the cake as my favourite decade art wise. I love how meta everything has become. Including the movies and music.
Describe your own art in a few words? Symmetrical, philosophical, childlike.
Favourite type of commission to make? Surprise birthday gifts. Always highly rewarding.
What are people often surprised to learn about me? I'm a qualified chef.
Why do you make art? Luck of the draw. My brain is wired to find it fun.
Favourite song of all time? I have too many to choose from. Forget It by Blood Orange and Poor Lenore by Wavves have been in my regular rotation for the longest though.
Niche interests? I listen to a lot of podcasts about space and time. I also collect and review perfume on instagram at @tabs.fragrance.
How would my friends and family describe me? I always have a would you rather question up my sleeve.
